🗓️ Today’s tip: Schedule community action in advance to hold yourself accountable.

Advocating for change should be an ongoing commitment, even when the marches and social media posts stop.

To hold yourself accountable over the long term, think of what you can keep doing in the coming weeks, months, and years. Maybe it’s a recurring donation, or a regular chunk of time dedicated to volunteering or organizing.

Then put it on your calendar. Set up alerts. Make a phone alarm. Having impossible-to-miss reminders will help ensure that you don’t let your activism become a one-time thing.
