Do this to ease the transition into the week
✅ Today’s tip: When you’re feeling distracted, that’s a great time to knock out your most boring tasks.
Last week, before the election was called, Forge editor Michelle Woo recommended getting through an extremely distracted time by tackling the most boring things on your to-do list. After the relief and celebration of this weekend, though, you’d be forgiven if your ability to focus hasn’t quite returned.
Woo’s advice is just as relevant now: If your brain is still buzzing with too many emotions to snap into work mode, start with the tasks that don’t require much thought. “Color-code your calendar, fill out your expenses, or tackle those emails that require just a one-line response,” she writes. “You’ll feel better for having accomplished whatever your brain can handle.”
