Creativity isn’t the product of divine inspiration. It’s a process thing. You piece together various ideas and configurations until you’ve made something that works. Which is why the notion of “writer’s block” is somewhat misleading.
More often than not, the thing we call a ‘block’ is a signal that something about your current process isn’t working. The pieces aren’t fitting together quite right, and your creative intuition is sounding the alarm. It’s not a matter of an elusive muse. It might even help you get back on the right track.
