One way to finally get some much-needed rest

Today’s tip: Take a mental health day this week to fully recharge.

Are you exhausted? I’m exhausted. After the initial burst of celebration, this weekend felt like trading one form of tired for another: a dead-inside sense of weariness replaced by a massive, jelly-limbed exhale of relief.

If you can swing it, take a day off this week. Before the election was called, we cut ourselves slack to stay in survival mode, to conserve a rapidly dwindling supply of energy; now, on the other side of it, we can cut ourselves slack to finally get some truly restorative rest. Take some time to do that and nothing else.
