📝 Today’s tip: Keep a running list of all the shows/books/podcasts your friends recommend to you, organized by recommender.

When someone tells you about that great new thing they’ve been watching lately, it’s all too easy to make a mental note that’s quickly forgotten. But then it’s a few weeks later, and you’re stuck aimlessly scrolling through Netflix, watching trailers until your eyes glaze over and you decide to just call it a night.

The solution? Whenever a friend gives you a recommendation, write it down. There’s no commitment on your end to follow through, but if you find yourself looking for something new to watch or read, it will be there waiting. And if you know who recommended what, you’ll have someone to talk to about it afterward. (Related: Ozark season 3 is amazing.)
