⏰ Today’s tip: Start your day with 10 minutes of personal, non-work maintenance.

Working from home is its own form of exhausting. After a full day of it, even small personal tasks like putting away folded laundry or unloading the dishwasher can seem insurmountably taxing.

Here’s one solution: When you first wake up, spend 10 minutes — and no more than 10 minutes — on one of those tasks. Set a timer. Don’t use the time to check email; keep it focused on life-maintenance must-dos that have nothing to do with your job.

At the end of those 10 minutes, you can start the day already feeling accomplished.
