You Can Log Off Now

Some election-day wisdom courtesy of The Cut: Log off at 4:30 p.m. and don’t log back on until 6:55. Did you miss the cutoff? Don’t worry; better late than never.

“Logging off at 4:30 leaves you at least half an hour of daylight should you choose to leave your home or, at the very least, gaze wistfully out the window at the dying embers of the day,” reason the writers. You’ll be rested and relaxed (in theory, anyway) by the time polls close in Georgia, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and some of Florida — when the “fun” really begins.
