I absolutely love my job. I feel like I’m using my skills and making a difference in the world. My co-workers and my manager are amazing. The only bad part? My commute.

I want to live near extended family but this means that I’m driving a minimum of 60 minutes in aggravating traffic each way. Generally it’s closer to 75 to 90 minutes. Two to three hours a day is a lot of time to spend in transit. How can I make this situation tolerable?

II sympathize with your frustration. In a full life, you know exactly what you could do with an extra 10 to 15 hours a week. It can be easy to mourn these possibilities as you’re slamming on the brakes and cursing at the guy cutting you off in traffic.
