On Ryan Holiday’s Daily Stoic podcast, the actor explained how he makes his big career decisions: Before he says yes to starring in a movie, he lives his life for two weeks with the frame of mind that he’s going to say no. If he sleeps well for those two weeks, he knows that’s a sign he should decline the opportunity. But if he keeps waking up at night thinking he must do the film, he says, “That’s a good reason to go: I’m in.”
