Have you heard about the Medium Writers Challenge?

If you have: Great! If not, here’s the deal: Medium wants to hear your story, and we’re giving away $100,000 in prize money for the opportunity.

Entering the challenge is easy: Write an essay on one of the four provided prompts (more on those here) and make sure it has the right tag (more info and instructions here). You can pick your favorite prompt, or you can write a piece for each of the four—in fact, we hope you do. A panel of judges featuring cultural leaders and writers such as Natalie Portman, Roxane Gay, Saeed Jones, and Susan Orlean will review the entries and pick the winners, including a grand prize winner who receives $50,000.
