🗓 Today’s tip: Schedule small joys on your calendar.

So you can’t make dinner plans with friends or book a vacation right now. It’s time to think smaller: What measure of joy can you plan to give yourself tomorrow, and the next day?

On Forge, the writer Mari Andrew suggests focusing your pent-up planning energy on little things, like ordering yourself a decadent breakfast, writing a card to send to a friend, or dressing up to dance to a favorite album in your living room.

Whatever you come up with, put it on your calendar. Having something to look forward to can make a world of difference.
