🍽️ Today’s tip: Take one thing off your holiday menu.

Sure, tradition is nice, but you know what’s even better? Sweet, sweet freedom. To that end, Forge editor Indrani Sen echoes a nugget of holiday wisdom from the writer Annaliese Griffin: “Take one thing off your menu.”

Whether that means cancelling the green bean casserole or, hell, the whole Christmas ham, give yourself the gift of some grace. You can even apply this logic to your daily cascade of to-dos, beyond your holiday meal prep: Pick one thing on your list, and just… cut it. Now enjoy the time you’ve just gotten back.
