Welcome to The Forge Daily Tip, a quick morning email that will help you start each day on the right foot.

😩 Today’s tip: When you’re on the brink of burnout, ask yourself, “Who’s pushing me to do this?”

This tip comes via our sister publication Zora, which is running a series this week all about burnout. Often, burnout is a response to imaginary pressures, the therapist Farah Harris explains:

“There’s some story behind the reason why you feel you have to perform,” she says. “When you can answer the question, ‘Who’s pushing me to do this?’ you’ll realize you have more control than you thought.”

And then, hopefully, you can push yourself to take a breather instead.
