📱 Today’s tip: Do an audit of your social media follows.
Your social-media feed can be a bubble, or it can be a tool for educating yourself.
The writer Ruth Terry suggests taking a critical look at who you follow — and who you don’t. “To make your feed more inclusive, start with a more diverse group of online friends and then use them to expand your social media horizons,” she writes. “The second step: Minimize your engagement with posts from friends with dominant identities (sorry, pals!) and engage with the kind of posts you want to see more of in your feed.”
Does the online world you’ve constructed for yourself look like the real one? If not, change it.
