A kinder way to email
đ© Todayâs tip: Batch your emails to save your coworkers (and yourself) a lot of stress.
Unless youâre firing off a note about something urgent, you probably donât need to send an email for every request or update as soon as it pops into your head. Instead, bundle non-timely things into one message. Sending fewer emails doesnât just reduce your colleaguesâ inbox clutter; it reduces the things they have to keep track of throughout the workday. (Same goes for you, too.)
Just being a person in the world right now is already a stressful experience. Minimizing the stress you add on top of that, even in small ways, is a gift.
